Haven't used them in Belize, but in Jamaica and St. Maarten. No complaints. (I think they might just be a middle man that connects tourists with independent tour guides, but I could be wrong.)

I think your right about the middle man because we are using them in Roatan as well. Thanks for the reply, it's good to hear someone went through the company with no regrets.

Thinking of using them in Belize in Feb. So you would highly recommend them? I am a little nervous about cave tubing! Anything to be nervous about?

Used Island Marketing for an excursion in Cozumel. Good organization.

 

For cave tubing in Belize we used Major Tom & the gang at cave-tubing dot net last month. They were great too. But you should be fine!!

 

Just curious, though....does anyone know the name of the operation that used high quality yellow inner tubes with headrests? And has anyone had any experience with them? Their tubes looked better than everyone else's in the river...but that doesn't mean it was a better experience.

Used Cavetubing.bz and were extremely happy that we used them. While floating in the caves and on the river we saw many people with other companies who's employees seemed less experienced/capable. Our guides were EXTREMELY organized and competent, even the one who was "in training". Other groups split off from their guides, had problems with the innertubes, etc. They had some trouble getting out of the water at the end. NO problems with our group/guides.

We just returned from Carnival legend .We were on the Extreme cave tubing adventure from Island Marketing the Operater was Cavetubing.com. We had a great time cave tubing, wonderful guides and equipment. We were a bit concerned as they promised us to be back for the tender an hour before last one . We made it with less than 4 minutes to departure time of the LAST tender. There were also a lot of politics going on as this was the first Carnival stop there in a few weeks. All in all it was good time and a heck of alot cheaper than the carnival price. if the politics calm down they will be a recomended operator. If the tenders are still feuding with Carnival, you may feel the tension.
