Day Pass with late arrival

I've pretty much read every thread here and still can't decide. I'm not usually like this! But....I really had planned to get the Sheraton day pass for us (me, husband and 2 kids). However, our ship doesn't arrive until 12 (guessing I'd be to Sheraton by 1 after disembarking and travel) and it gets dark around 5 (this is in 2 weeks - so January - dark early, right??) so I'm guessing everything's all packed up by then. Our ship doesn't leave until 7, so I don't have to rush back, but once it's dark it's obviously not beach time with 2 kids. LOL

Is the day pass still worth it? I am hoping so, but just wanted some advice.

Thanks!
