Freedom of the Seas - Aft Cabin Question

Any one have a preference for an aft cabin on Deck 7, 8 or 9? and also for cruising out of Port Canaveral, where is the best place to stay pre-cruise? Have concerns about this being an inconvenience getting to the port??

I've been in the back corner cabin on the 10th floor, amazing, best room I've ever had!:)

We stayed at Country Inn & Suites at PC and where happy with it. Very close to the port. Go online and join their club then make your reservation. We had a free upgrade to a suite because we had joined the club. Country Inn & Suites runs a shuttle to/from Freedom of the seas. Breakfast is included. I think they have a stay/park/shuttle/cruise package if you are driving.
