Suggestions Please for Day at the Beach

Last Xmas we took the local bus from the station a short walk from the cruise terminal (if you're in the proper one) paid $3 pp ew (you have to get tokens from a very small window) and went up to Holetown beach. Don't worry if you ask often enough the locals will tell you when to get off. The trip takes roughly 30 mins and you'll see what Bridgtown is like on the return trip.

Once there we bought 2 beds & a shade and enjoyed the whole day doing nothing, although there are people selling watersports.

There's a bar there that does food too.

Then we got the bus back....easy peasy.

Only thing I will say is if you want a bit more local colour you could take one of the mini buses just behind the bus station also $3 pp ew but cash only.

If you do take the "proper" bus they don't run as often and some minibus conductors will tell you they take the tokens but won't once you're aboard (some do tho). The minibuses do run much more often.

Hope this helps.
