If you just want to add some moola to your S&S account as on board credit, the easiest way is to simply call the Bon Voyage dept at 800-906-7603 and tell them you want to purchase OBC or Funship Dollars to be applied as OBC. Then you have no papers being mailed and you don't have to cash anything in ahead of time or on the ship. We do this all the time.

 

Once the credit is on your account, it's applied to ANYTHING you charge on your S&S account on the ship. You can also purchse Funship Dollars online thru gifts & services and in the 1st & 2nd address lines on the order form, note: ON BOARD CREDIT, and also your BOOKING NUMBER. Then it's applied to your account without having any paperwork to deal with.

yes you were-- the certificate states a lot of stuff that is not true--they state you can not use them for tips- or casinos. But i have used them for everything onboard. including tips and casino.

 

once applied they are applied as cash-

 

you can not use the certificcates in the stores--- you have to place them on your account and use your sign and sail card for purchases

Yes and no. The certificates say they can't be used for tips or gambling. But what that really means is you can't hand them to your room steward as a tip or hand them to the casino cashier or put them in the slot machines or hand them to the staff selling bingo cards. They can be used to pay for tips and gambling when the dollars are applied to you sign and sail card and you charge the tips and gambling expenses on your card.

If you called today- it takes 7 days for them to be shipped. You would get them by next Tuesday.

Unless you secure the account with a credit card....

You have to secure the account with cash ahead of time and they will refund any unused portion.

If you use a CC to secure it. Yes you can settle up in cash the last night.

You have to have cash on your card within 24 hours when you arrive. After that if you have nothing down on your sign and sail card youwill be denied charging on it.

 

You put down X amount of dollars.- when youspend and get to be close to that amount-- you get a letter in your cabin to visit the pursers desk.

 

You can not wait til the final bill to settle your account
