I know my review is late, but better late than never.;) This was my first cruise, and since I live in lake Wylie SC, it was a fast trip to Charleston. Cruising was myself (@ 22 weeks pregnant) my husband, and two kids (ages 7 and 2) My parents, sister, Aunt, Uncle, Cousin and Grandmother were also on the Fantasy.

We left the day before, drove down to Charleston and stayed at the Residence Inn Charleston Airport. It was $99 for a mini suite Cruise Package park & sail, which included hot buffet breakfast, and transportation to and from the port.

Once we arrived at the terminal, embarkation went quickly. Our room was ready once we were on the ship. After checking out the room we headed to the water slides, then to eat lunch. The buffet food was very good. There was a huge variety of food. The water works was fun, and both my kids enjoyed playing there. The ship had activities going on all day. Outside by the pool was music and games. They also had a buffet close to the pool outside with burgers, chicken fingers and even Asian food. The alcoholic drinks going around also looked Good, but because I was pregnant( No drinking for me:rolleyes:) but I still had a good time.

We ate dinner in the dining room every night. The food was very good. If you want to order two appetizers......you can! If you want two orders of lobster tails(hey as long as you can eat it all:eek:) Go a head and order two. The wait staff was nice and they put on some good shows. (When they sang and danced)

Our last stop was Grand Turk. We walked around some, and spent the rest of our time at Margaritaville. That was FUN! They have a big pool that wraps around the restaurant, and you can just go swimming(you don't have to order) But my parents and husband had a few Margaritas and we had fun swimming in the pool. They had a DJ playing music and they had games going on.

While on the ship we had fun. The shows at night were good. We played Bingo, and attended some of the games they had. Room service was Awesome. You can order whenever, and it's free. I did tip $1 or $2 when they delivered my food, the staff is really nice! Our room steward was great. He kept our room clean, and he was very helpful and friendly.

Overall I had a great time. I plan to go again(this time just my husband and me) Now that we have another child, it will be nice to go alone (plus I can have a few drinks this time) :)
