OK so I am thinking about booking acruise with my family. I have sailed on Holland,Princess and Carnival.. I would like to give NCL a try but am hesitant because I love cruising so much and want my family to love it as much as me and I havent been on a NCL ship..thinking about the Pearl..Can I get some input about NCL and the Pearl from you experts of NCL please...and thank you. fyi, we will be cruising Jan1 of 2012.

The Pearl is my favorite ship!! I think you will love NCL. We've been on other cruise lines, but are always drawn back to NCL. There are a ton of posts that give wonderful reviews of the Pearl. Good luck with your decision!

The Pearl is the second best ship of the NCL Jewelry ships. Gem would be the best.

Just got off the Epic and my family all agreed we had a better time on the Pearl. We also loved the Gem. I think bigger is not better for us this is just my opinion.

We've been on the Jewel, Pearl x2 and Sky, the Pearl by far is our favorite. She is in great shape and the staff is excellent, hoping the Dawn will treat us just as well in 2 weeks.

My daughter and I were on the Dawn last March. It by far was our best cruise.
