Offshore fishing and keeping your catch

We are planning a half day fishing trip when in Cozumel with a local guide. Thanks for your help in finding a guide. Question is: can we keep our catch and bring it back to the Caribbean Princess to store till the cruise is over? Has anyone ever done this? Thanks for your help.

Somewhere:confused: I think I read that on Carnival you have to send it home, either UPS or snail mail (with ice I hope!!!;) )

I doubt if they will store the fish for you, but if you ask the head waiter the night before you go fishing, you can probably bring a portion of your fish back and have it cooked for you. My husband and son did this, and it was delicious -- they served it as an appetizer to our group of 29 and to some of the adjoining tables. It was beautifully presented,
