China -- Vantage or Avalon

Has anyone used Vantage or Avalon for a trip to China? Thank you for any info!

I haven't sorry. I can thoroughly recommend Viking though. Have you considered them?

We have used Vantage for other trips and are signed up to go to China with them in August. We found the accommodations to be excellent and almost all of the guides to be great.

 

If you haven't booked yet, advise and we may each be able to get a referral credit.

We are considering a Vantage China trip in October 2011. Wondering if you in fact made the trip and what was your experience.

Our first trip with Vantage was to China and extension to Viet Nam in 2006. It was a very good trip, very good guide, good accommocations and a very reasonable price as many excursions are included in the trip cost.

 

We have taken 5 other trips since then, have one scheduled next month on a sailing ship from Nice to Rome. We are also considering doing the China trip again in the fall this year.
