Gilgo Surfer Posted January 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2011 I was wondering if it is possible to take a cab to La Popa. Has anyone ever done this?
Gilgo Surfer Posted January 19, 2011 Author #2 Share Posted January 19, 2011 I will be in Cartagena Columbia next week and wanted to go to La Popa. I do not see any excursions listed that go there. Can I Get a cab or bus there? Thanks in advance for any info.
drew sailbum Posted January 24, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2011 Of course you can take a cab to La Popa Monastery. It is a more expensive cab ride, about COP50.000 round trip (US$28???). The taxi driver will take you up the hill and wait for you while you tour. Taxis tend to be very small... many are subcompacts. Plan on three adult passengers maximum per cab. We always are sure to get van with air conditioning
