Has anyone stayed in the Holiday Inn Express, Convention Center, Fort Lauderdale?

I am hoping to get some feedback from some one who has stayed at the Holiday Inn Exress, Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale. We are looking for a pre-cruise hotel close to the beach that is affordable. Thanks for any input.

Good location but there is no pool:( ....that's all I needed to know I didn't want to stay there. We opted for the Holiday Inn Express Air/Sea Port instead. We'll taxi or shuttle to the convention center area if we need to the night prior to embarkation for dinner & sightseeing. Chef Nancy:)

We stayed at this motel prior to our princess cruise in sept as the other person posted there is no pool but that didnt bother us at all. This motel is very clean the desk persons were very helpful the cont breakfast was good and they have a free shuttle to the cruise port and the air port when I cruise out of fll again I will stay at this motel I was very satisfied here have a great day James

Thanks for the good report. We don't care if there is a pool or not either.

There will be plenty to do anyway. It is a good location.
