Fun Restaurant near Airport Sheraton, Ft. Laud?

Could anyone recommend a "fun" place for a group of us to have dinner on March 14th near Dania Beach? ( Ft. Lauderdale) In the past we have gone to Charlie's Crab House, but it's simply too far to drive this year. We enjoy dining out on a terrace. As I'm not familiar with the restaurants near the Airport Sheraton, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

There really isn't much that's real close to there if you mean walking distance or real short cab ride.

 

There's a restaurant called Islamorada Fish Company at the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. That's probably the closest place to the Airport Sheraton that seems to have what you're asking for, but I haven't been there myself so I can't tell you if it's any good or not...

Those are both about 15-20 minutes away at the most and are the types of places you seem to want. I can't think of anyplace else at the moment that's closer, has good food, is "fun", and has a terrace.

We decided to make reservations at The River House and dine on the beautiful lawn overlooking the River!

It's a marvelous restaurant!
