Diving With cruise line

Has anyone gone diving with Hal? We'er on the 3-12 Zaandam cruise and this will be our first time to Cosamel and Grand Cayman so we thought we would just dive with HAL. How was the diving? Do they have good equipment? Are the dives usually first thing in the morning? If they tender do they take you right from the ship? I would really like to Know what to expect. We have and we have dove both places plenty of times on and off the ship.

We always bring our own gear but the gear I see others use look fine. The companies do have liabilities to think about. Booking off HAL is fine. In GC we always went with Bob Sotos on our on but in Cozumel we go off the ships all the time. Be prepared in Cozumel for drift diving--it is fun.
