GrammieMame Posted January 27, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2011 We will be in St. Thomas and would like a cattamaran trip to St. John. I looked into sailing and decided we would like the cattamaran better. Does anyone have any recommendations, either favorable or unfavorable? smilz Posted January 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2011 Will you be snorkeling? A catamaran is usually easier to navigate the steps. It usually has more moving around room as well but it will vary with type. The snorkeling is great off St John!:D

KMSnevit Posted January 29, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2011 We did the Champagne Catamaran Cruise to St. John (booked through Carnival) wonderful excursion! The crew were amazing! The snorkeling was very good. We even saw turtles! Evan, one of the crew members, told us about the history of the island, some fun facts etc. Definitely worth the money (although it is a little pricey) but we would do it again if ever given the chance!
