Miami Airport to Holiday Inn Port of Miami

We will be arriving in Miami on Friday, March 18, 2005, heading to the Holiday Inn Port of Miami for a night before our cruise on Saturday, March 19, 2005.

 

There are 5 in our family and I was wondering if anyone could give information regarding transportation. I don't believe we will all fit in a taxi. The limo services seem to charge a pretty steep fare for such a short ride.

 

Has anyone used the Shuttle Service? Do you have to have reservations? Do you have to sit and wait for the shuttle to fill up?

 

Any information would be appreciated.

You could try Super Shuttle, but keep in mind unless you have enough people to fill it up it may make other stops on the way depending on whether or not the others on it have stops before or after yours... http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/mia.htm

 

According to their webpage though it's $10/12 PER PERSON to downtown Miami from MIA.

I checked this site for our cruise in May to take 3 people from FLL airport to a Miami Bayside hotel - it is actually cheaper to have the private sedan than to take the shared ride for 3. They do have a private van, also.
