Has anyone stayed in rooms #7204 or 7206 on the Freedom?

We just booked these two rooms. THese are listed as oceanview obstructed. The photos the agent sent us show the obstruction as only the railing on the walkway in the front on the ship. It actually looks like a nice quite area. We we have never had a room in the front of the ship before.

Anyhow, has anyone had any experience in these rooms on Freedom or any other ship the room in the front on the ship?

Thanks in advance.

We have this type of room booked on our cruise in May on the Victory and have heard lots of good things about it. It's a lot cheaper than a regular balcony cabin and with a short walk you have this big open deck to enjoy that is way bigger than a balcony. Of course it isn't as private, but I am looking forward to having this cabin. We will be on the Lido deck on our cruise. Hope it works out for ya Lisa.

We had an obstructed view on the Dream last May and absolutely loved it, the room was huge! We have once again booked an obstructed view on the Freedom for our upcoming cruise in May of this year. We had no regrets at all, in fact, we had the least expensive room out of all of our friends (some of them had cove balconies) but we had the largest room.

7204 has a bench right underneath your window. If you get two people out there late at night sitting in on it and talking, they are right above your head as your laying in bed. I had a couple of evenings when it was very loud. You always have to be careful of the two end rooms all the way forward as they door leading out to the deck is right there. It gets very windy in that doorway and when that door slams and it is VERY loud.

you will be very happy with 7206-4 we have had forward cabins 3 timesi face they face straight forward and are great to look out you feel as if you were steering the ship

we have had 7208 and 6208 which is on the starboard side and I would not change to a balcony as we are out all day and night

7206 has a different shape as it is on the edge but we like it as it is square rather than oblong and the sofa is by the large porthole they also near the elevators.

we have just booked 6208 on freedom for December as I wanted to make sure I got one of the end cabins

enjoy your trip
