Snorkel excursion-Cayman or Cozumel

Will be on the Inspiration this March for my family's first cruise. I wanted to get advice on where we should snorkel. Cayman or Cozumel? Thanks

Whichever is good, but do NOT do the 'reef & wreck' snorkel in Cayman.

 

wasn't worth it. Did it last summer on Inspiration. Go with another....

If you have your own equipment you can snorkel right from the shore for free in GC or Cozumel and not pay the extra for the excursions. In GC snorkel at Eden Rock, Sunset House or cheeseburger reef, all in walking distance from the pier.. In Cozumel snorkel at the Money Bar reef. All these places offer equipment rental.

I would highly recommnd the trip with Capt Marvin. He goes to three places; the Coral Garden, the Reef; and Stingray City. Fantastic crew and ship. We had a ball and the crew on-board made it a wonderful time. His prices are competitive and the water there is so clear as not to be believed. He has a web site though I am not sure of the actual URL name.
