Wi-Fi on Valor

Hello!

 

We are sailing on the Valor on 3/27/05. We will be taking our laptop with us, as we understand that the Valor is "100 wireless - bow to stern."

 

Can someone who has sailed recently on the Valor with their laptop tell us:

 

1. How well did the wireless work; did your connections hold?

 

2. How much is it for a package of wireless minutes?

1. Once connected, I was never disconnected and I always had a signal strength of "excellent" in my room (I never used it outside of the room). The web pages sometimes loaded quickly and other times more slowly, but that is typical of what it would have been in the internet cafe from what I have heard from other users.

 

2. 100 minutes - $55

200 minutes - $100

One time setup fee - $3.95

If you do pay as you go, you will be charged $.75/minute for each minute used.
