Cesky Krumlov vs Prague

We'll be disembarking Passau on Aug 7th from Uniworld's River Beatrice and heading to Prague for 4 days. We have a chance to visit Cesky Krumlov on our way to Prague and was wondering if we should spend the night. And if so where to stay. As for Prague we're leaning toward's Santini's Residence. Any suggestiond?:confused:

We were just in Cesky Krumlov in October and it is a wonderful little city, one of our favorites. Check the Hotel Konvice. Not sure about the rates. We stayed three nights at the Aria Hotel in Prague after seeing it on the Travel Channel (Samantha Brown stayed there). It was wonderful and the restaurant was our favorite in Prague. Nice location, just half a block down from the American Embassy.

Thanks. I think we'll probably just take a 4-5 hour stop at Cesky Krumlov on our way to Prague. We're looking at staying at the Santini or Buddha-Bar.:)

Absolutely go to Cesky Krumlov. It is our favorite place in the CR!
