Bananarama v. Island marketing v. taxi

Looking for a beach day. The cruise offered excursion appears a bit steep. I could taxi, but chairs are not included. Anybody have any experience with either island marketing beach break or booking directly with Banarama? How is the snorkling off the beach? A?ny other suggestions

West Bay Beach (which is where Bananarama is located) has incredible shore-entry snorkeling (you put on your mask/fins while you're standing onshore and then swim out 20-30 yards and you're on the reef).

 

Even though some spots of the beach will be crowded, you'll be in the water snorkeling and it shouldn't be a problem for you.

Can you recommend a resort that does day passes? Also, If we dock in Mahogany Bay how far are the wesdt bay beaches? Whats the cab fare??:confused:

Is Foster Beach the same area? We are think about doing the South Shore Canopy Zip and Beach.
