Xunantunich or Cahal Pech with RCI?

I'm working on selecting my excursions for a March cruise with RCI and I have narrowed it down to seeing ruins in Xunantunich or Cahal Pech. Cahal Pech is a little shorter and cheaper, but I want to pick the "best" one. Thanks for any info!

Xunantunich is the more interesting ruin. It definately has more wow factor. I enjoyed visiting Cahal Pech as well, but I did it on a Belize land vacation and had the place to myself. Cahal Pech doesn't have a huge structure like Xunantunich but it does offer a nice jungle setting with fewer people (the group you are with will likely be the only ones there). It's too bad that they don't offer a tour of both combined since Cahal Pech is located on the way and only takes an hour or so to visit. Anyway, you can find pictures of both on my photo website:
