Scuba Diving in Maui

I will be taking the Norwegian Pride of America departing Honolulu on April 30, 2011. I would like to dive the Molokini Crater on May 2nd while in port in Maui. Scuba diving trips are not offered by the ship so I need to make arrangements on my own. How do we get to a dive shop from the ship. Is there a dive shop very close to where the ship docks? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Is the ship docking in Lahaina or Kahalui? Lahaina is closer to the Molokini and there are dive shops in Lahaina but I don't think there are in Kahalui.

 

What time does your ship get in? Most dive shops have a pretty early check-in to go to Molokini. Depending on timing, you might be better off doing some shore dives. Check out Tim Rollo at www.tinybubblesscuba.com for shore dives around Lahaina.
