What do we pack?

We are newbie cruisers taking the 10 day Panama cruise on RCCL. I believe there are 2 semi-formal and 2 formal nights. Any suggestions on what we should take? The cruise leaves April 8, 2005.

You need fewer day time clothes than you think. Mix & Match so you end up w/ about 8 day outfits, maybe 4 pairs of shorts & 4-5 tops. You'll usually be in swim wear / cover-ups. If you work out bring 1-2 work out outfits. Bring at least 2 bathing suits; they don't always dry fast in the cabins.

 

You want 1-2 fancy outfits for the formal nights.

 

You want some stylish other clothes for evening -- maybe sundresses, nice pants & a top, a blazer, golf shirts & khakis for men.

 

Pack a light sweater or wrap b/c it gets cold in the public areas with the AC.

 

Leave the jeans home.
