Carnival Fitness center

If I am opening a duplicate thread, so sorry, but I did not see anything addressing this topic elsewhere later than 2008.

Are classes offered at an additional fee? It seems as though I can just use the equipment in the fitness center without an additional cost, but what about special classes?

Also, if there are no classes scheduled do the fitness centers have DVDs that you can pop into a player and work out during off hours? I know that would be way too cool for them, since the objective these days is to get every extra dollar they can grab, but.... a nice to have and on my wish list! :)

While I will say I was impressed with the fitness center and equipment aboard the Pride, I will say that it was ungodly hot. I was running about 3.5 miles a day and could barely squeeze out 2 on one of the treadmills due to the heat. After one attempt at a run I gave it up for no good the rest of the cruise. Plus it's not easy to run with a hangover :D
