heatherb1958 Posted March 5, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2005 YES, YES, YES, !!! we sailed on the Mercury and the Millennium at Halloween and were absolutely gobsmacked at the numbers of people who were dressed to fright in fantastic costumes. They were not all staff either. You Americans make more of a thing of it than we do over here so we were very impressed ,especially on how did they get everything in their cases !!! hajekfam Posted March 6, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2005 We were on the Millie for Halloween in 2003. Dress for the evening according to the daily was informal or Halloween costume. They did hold a Halloween party and had a costume contest. We brought some of those costumes (Julius Caesar and Cleopatra) in a bag and added a few embellishments(wig, jewels, jewelery, etc). Didn't take up much room in the luggage and we were among the finalists.
