NCL SKY cabin 0001a

Hey guys,

 

I'm new to NCL...have been on two Carnival cruises and wanted to try something different..so I'm doing a 4-nighter on NCL Sky. My question is...the only balcony they had for my sailing was cabin 0001a which is the farthest cabin at the front of the ship.

 

Has anyone stayed in this cabin? I did a search and someone said it may be a newer and slightly larger cabin than a regular NCL balcony?

I got my "Welcome Aboard" booklet today for our 4/18 sailing and on the ship diagram it looks like #0001 is on deck 10 forward near the atrium elevators.

I see that these posts are a bit old, but I am wondering about the 0001A room on the Sky. We are booked on the sky to the Bahamas in May. Would love to know if that is a good room or should I request to move? How was it?
