RedbirdFL Posted February 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2011 We're planning to take a cruise on the Sensation May 1. I'm playing the waiting game hoping that the rates will drop a bit b/c it looks like there are still quite a few cabins left. Right now, though, the senior rate at $283 is our best deal for an oceanview cabin, which is what we're looking at. I checked some of the April cruises and it doesn't look like the senior rate is offered. Do the senior rates go away once we get within the 60 day range? How big of a risk I am taking by waiting? Cricket63 Posted February 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2011 I don't think anyone can really answer for the cruise lines. They are the ones who put the discounts out and when. We are traveling in 4 weeks and our sailing still has senior rates available. It's a luck of the draw.
