katieandaron Posted February 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2011 Some advice for you all! We mailed off our marriage license application back in November for our April 2011 wedding in Miami. We finally got the license in the mail this weekend and it has an ERROR! So we have to send more info to Carnival and pay the correction fee, ugh. Our error was so easily overlooked, I wanted to share it so that you all don't do the same thing! We had to include copies of our IDs with the application. My fiance's drivers license does not list his middle name, just his middle initial. So although we filled out his full name on the application, the clerk's office only typed the middle initial on the license. So we have to make a copy of his passport, which lists his full name, and send that down to Carnival so they can correct the license. So double check your IDs to make sure they contain your full name!
