Need help - price comparison spring vs. fall

Good Evening Everyone,

Just curious and need help from experienced Royal cruisers.

There is a great cruise in April doing a 13 night Eastern Med itinerary. The prices for that cruise have been fabulous and the rates even dropped more after the final payment date. I can't do this cruise because I can't find a sitter for my pets for that time period. I have been looking at the same cruise in September. The prices are almost three times as much as the April cruise. They don't seem to moving downward at all and there are cabins available.

My question is, in your experiences - do Fall cruises to the Med generally cost more than their equivalent in the Spring?
