Eastern Caribbean cruise during Christmas on Liberty of the Seas?

Recommended Posts

I was looking into taking a cruise on the Liberty of the Seas during Christmas 2011.

However, I was concerned about the weather both on the ship and the ports of call. One of the main features that I was looking forward to was the use of the FlowRider and the H2O zone for the kids. Reading some past 2010 December reviews on the Liberty of the Seas.....I read that the weather and most notably the water in the pools was too cold. Generally speaking, is the weather and temperature on the boat and the sea itself not warm enough in December?

Also....how is the weather on the ports of call ( mainly Labadee)?

The reason I ask is because when my family usually goes on a cruise, they hope oto play in the water and I was concerned that the water and weather would be too cold during the Christmas time.

Any insight into taking a cruise and what to expect on a 5 night cruise on the Liberty of the Seas would be helpful.

Thanks in advance
