Your opinion on room on the Pride

Folks,

We booked an ouside cabin guarantee...found today we are on the upper deck with an obstructed balcony (room 5245). The diagram shows the rescue boats are in front of the room. Has anyone had that room?

We have had balcony's before and found we liked the door open for the sound, but really didn't sit out there much. Looking at the diagram it must be laid out differently as most rooms are narrow from the hall to the side of the ship, where this one is wide from the bow to the stern. Would you rather have a outside cabin with a view or the balcony although it is obstructed. Just curious as to your thoughts. And again if anyone has had this room or one similar on the Spiril, Legend or Miracle. Thanks for your thoughts. Lydia of Ohio
