Parking in Miami

We are driving to Miami to catch the Liberty departing April 2. If anybody had any experiences, good or bad, about Miami parking, I would be very greatful for some input. I know that we can park at the cruise terminal for $20 per day, and I have also heard about ParkRideFly and AutoBoutique located adjacent to Miami International. Does anyone have input about either airport parking vacility---Do they have a shuttle? Is it reliable? Do we have to take a cab to the cruise terminal and how much is it and how long does it take? I hate to sound like a nerd but I have never driven to Miami before and I am at a loss as to where to park. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

I too am driving to Miami, from Michigan next month. I found it cheaper to get a hotel that allows free parking. For $79 I got a room at La Quinta East which has free parking for 10 days and a shuttle to the cruise port. A place to crash the night before that is cheaper than just leaving my ride at the port, worked out great.
