la_croisiere_s'amuse Posted March 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2005 Does anybody have any experience with this hotel? I hear such rave reviews of the Radisson, but I'd really like to stay somewhere with direct beach access. I've heard that the CB Holiday Inn is a total dive, and only mixed reviews for the Hilton. Anyone??
TrentS Posted March 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2005 I haven't stayed there but since no one's answering you have you read the reviews on TripAdvisor for all of the Cocoa Beach hotels?... http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g34145-Cocoa_Beach_Florida-Hotels.html

SeaBrz Posted March 18, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2005 Hi, all -- Thought I'd mention that it's impossible to evaluate some of the Cocoa Beach hotels on reviews written prior to September 2004. Both the Cocoa Beach Hilton and Holiday Inn Oceanfront suffered MAJOR damage from the hurricanes last year. The Holiday Inn finally reopened on January 1st after 3 months of repairs and (much needed!) renovations. I am not sure if the Hilton is even reopened yet as there are still many, many construction trailers in the parking lot. Sorry I can't answer your original question about the Doubletree (never stayed there), but I have heard it's nice. You may want to also check out the Royal Mansions in Cape Canaveral. Oceanfront and on a quiet backroad, but very close to the Port: Royal Mansions Resort http://www.royalmansions.com/ HTH -- SB
