Barbados Five star catarman lunch and turtle encounter

we will be in barbados and doing this excursion through celebrity. has anyone been on it? what did you think? last year we did the snokel with turtles and shipwreck through ocean adventures and had a great time but were looking to do something a little nicer this year..thx

You'll be happy you did this excursion. We did the other less expensive turtle excursion, and were very envious of those that chose to do the 5-star. It looked amazing.

We enjoyed (assuming its the same one Princess offers). Champagne on the way out, great lunch (flying fish sandwiches - a Barbados speciality supposedly), full bar back.

 

There were three snorkeling stops. One near a reef, one at the sunken ship and the third with the turtles. With the turtles you cannot wear fins, they scare them. Nor can you dive or touch them. Believe us, they get close enough without any of that.

 

A very good time.

I did this excursion last April and loved it so much I have it book again this March. You won't be dissatified.:D
