Question about taxis on St. Maarten/St. Thomas

Do they have seat belts in them?

I want to bring my 2 year old DD's car seat because we will need transportation and it folds easily and turns into a backpack so it won't be a PITA but it will be kind of useless if there aren't any seat belts. LOL

Thank you in advance.

The ones that I've used in St. Thomas...which were "open air trucks" and did not have seatbelts. But the one that I used or hired in St. Maarten was a van and did have seat belts. Both the van and open air truck are the common form of taxi transportation in each of those locations.

Hope that helps ;)
