Today, my family went to the AAA Travel Expo in Baltimore. My kids, seasoned Carnival travelers that they are, decided to take their Camp Carnival backpacks to collect brochures and other goodies. My DD, 7, even stashed her last S&S card away.

 

Upon meeting the Carnival representative at the show, DD proudly showed her card and told him what a fan she was. He asked us to hang out for a minute and disappeared. He came back a few minutes later and gave us all kinds of swag, from a CD to a journal to a fun ship special funnel drink cup to the pièce de résistance -- a funnel hat. She didn't want to wear it, so gave it to DH, who wore it proudly the rest of the afternoon.

 

Now DH is talking about booking another cruise so he can wear it. Woo-hoo!
