DeePee Posted March 8, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2005 Is True That They Will Confiscate All Alcohol You Take Aboard And Hold It Until Disembarkation? We Like To Take Our Own Wine On Board. Can Anyone Help Us With This? Our Last Cruise The Steward Took An Inventory Of The Alcohol In The Refrigerator And Made Room For The Wine We Brought Aboard. Eagle 1 Posted March 8, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2005 We took the Mercury out of San Francisco last Oct. and before we left port I bought wine and soda at a super market near Fishermans Warf and had no problem bringing on board. I also bought a six pack of Carona in P. V. and no problem.:D
Longboysfan Posted March 8, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2005 Celebrity will only take the large sets of bottles from you - as you come in from the port - not boarding. And even then if you ask them that you would like to keep it in your room they usually permit this. Be it with in reason. Don't try to lug a keg on board. chessbriar Posted March 8, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 8, 2005 If you bring wine or a bottle of liqour in your carry on luggage on embarkation day, you will have no problem bringing it on board. What they take and hold for you is any liqour purchased in port.
