Ruby Princess - Icecream

i know its not an overly important subject but just wanted to know if the ruby princess has any free icecream available ?

Soft serve available on Lido deck midship by the pool, complimentary.

The usual for soft serve-- chocolate and vanilla. Available on their own or in a twist.

They also have sugar free hand dipped at the "Scoops" location but usually only have chocolate or vanilla.

There will also be some free ice cream in the dining rooms at dinner and lunch that is not the soft serve kind. They have all different flavors that vary on different days. It is very good!

yes the ice cream bar is on the pool deck, its attached to the pizza parlour

they also have hard ice cream... i got a scoop (for free still) when they had ran out of the soft serve chocolate.

both are very good...

the line can be long, especially on sea days, so look out for that!

As mentioned above..they have the free soft serve vanilla at chocolate at Scoops on the Lido deck. One thing to keep in mind is that the hard ice cream they have in the dinning rooms is all fresh made on the ship. Each day they have different flavors and over the years have had some amazing ice creams.

Just had to add that if the Ruby is anything like the Emerald (and I'm pretty sure it is)--the ice cream at the Piazza is wonderful! 3 scoops of delicious flavors for about $1.50--split it with your honey!

We're looking forward to our May 1 transatlantic Ruby crossing. Can't wait!

Gelato not Ice Cream:

You pay ONLY for the special gellato from the International Cafe. This is not the same as the ice cream available in the dining room at lunch and dinner, or the soft-serve by the pool.

Just back recently off the Ruby and while they usually served the soft ice cream, they did offer the hard ice cream for free when the soft ice cream machines over heated and had to cool down.
