Is Disney really worth the cost?

Everyone has made great points. Another way you can save $ on a Disney Cruise is that you are allowed to carry on your own alcohol. Do you know how much $ that saves !! A lot :)

If you have children under 12 I would say Disney is the best. Over 12... Royal Carribean hands down for me. It is hard to beat a 220,000 ton ship like Allure of the Seas. Take the new Disney Dream and almost double its size and you have the Allure/ Oasis of the Seas. We have Cruised NCL, Holland, Carnival, Royal Carribean and Disney. Typically the newest and biggest ships from each company and here are my ratings. (We have 3 children 16,15,4).

1. Disney & Royal Carribean (The 4 year old loves Disney)

2. NCL (Epic)

3. Carnival (Dream)

4. to @ Who cares. Would not go again.
