amazing secret river excursion please help

We are thinking about booking this excursion for May. Has anyone done this one? It is through Carnival. My main question is it says after exploring the caverns you will have time to spend in Playa del Carmen. Time to do what? Is there a nice beach close by and how much free time do you have? Or can you just go back to Cozumel early? I have been on the ferry and I know its rough. If anyone has done this one please help so I can know what to expect.

Just wondering what you decided to do on this? We are looking at this excursion too, along with the Caverns by Jeep and Beach Combo. Did you have a good experience?

I just posted my experience in the other thread which has now been moved to this Cozumel board. I also put in a bunch of pictures. It was one of my favorite excursions. There is also plenty to do in Playa Del Carman. There is a beautiful beach, many stores, restaurants and bars. It is a nice little town. I loved it over there and found the beach to be much nicer then ones I have been to in Cozumel.
