Why is D4 an upgrade?

Recommended Posts

Hello...I understand the D4 vs D8 (D4 can fit more people) but we did a D8 superior oceanview guarantee and got cabin 7696 (D4 category). Our travel agent said it was an upgrade but since there is only two of us, not sure a connecting room is an upgrade?!

I realize we booked a guarantee and we did switch our room once as I wanted deck 7 but I am a little concerned about having a connecting cabin and wish we could be downgraded again! They probably have more D4 rooms and that is why...just wondering why its listed as an upgrade.

Thanks for helping me make sense of this!

44 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!
