Horse & Buggy with Belize Horse & Carriage

Can not recommend this too much!! We just got back from a cruise thru Belize and particularly liked the horse and buggy tour instead of the taxi tour. Belize Horse and Carriage the people in the orange shirts located to the left outside the tourist arrival area and taxi stand, is run by a nice young lady named Shyean who took superb care of us when we had a small problem of leaving a towel bag at a shop during the tour too. Our buggy tour was a comprehensive look at the town's interesting aspects. Omar, our driver, was very informative as to the town and history of the area. Omar also made a quick off-scheduled stop at a t shirt shop and a couple other stops along the way for photos. Mighty, the horse did a great job. We later took a tour with them on an extended golf cart which was very interesting as well. Anyone could really enjoy this one hour tour with the horse and buggy. You do not need more if what you want is to familiarize yourself with the town..

Thanks for your reveiw. We are going to be there next month. Sounds like something fun to do. How much did it cost? Do you think they are out there in the afternoons or just the mornings? We have already booked a tour through the cruise line (to Altun Ha) in the morning but might want to do something else in the afternoon.
