Miami Terminal bag storage

We are arriving in Miami Friday night for our Saturday cruise. We would like to do a bit of touring in the morning without our bags. Are there lockers or a storage facility at the terminal? Does anyone know the approximate cab fare to South Beach or are there cheaper options? We're booked with NCL. Thanks for your help.

No, you can NOT store your bags anywhere at the Port of Miami. You can check them in with a porter and then leave and come back later to check in if you wish. I'm not sure what time the porters begin accepting luggage though, I wouldn't think it would be before 10-11am, but perhaps... Cab fare to South Beach should be somewhere around $20.
