Biscayne Bay- Distance from port

Which hotels are you referring to??? Biscayne Bay is not a city, or district - It's just a body of water, but the Sheraton for example calls itself the "Sheraton Biscayne Bay", but it's just across a drawbridge from the Hyatt in downtown Miami. The "Biscayne Bay Marriott" is closer to the port than the Sheraton, but is in a completely opposite direction.

We stayed at the Marriott Biscayne Bay and it is a nice hotel. The restaurant food is great. You are right on the water and can sit in the restaurant and look out on the bay. It is close the the Marketplace which has great shopping, good food, Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant, music on the beach, can get rental boats there. We rented a car as we were there for a few days, but the ships dock right across the bay. There is no beach but a nice pool area on the roof of the hotel. My daughters enjoyed the hotel, they were 20 and 22 at the time. We drove down to South Beach but it is a real hassle with traffic. Take your time. Lots of good seafood restaurants in the area if you have a car.
