Tremont Galveston?

We are booked at the Tremont in 2 weeks and wanted to know if anybody has stayed there recently. Can you give me a mini review? Are there restaurants near there as we won't have a car.

The Tremont is a beautiful, luxury hotel with a cafe' in the lobby area. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance downtown on the Strand, Harborside Drive and Post Office St. The Tremont also offers a shuttle service to their other hotel, the Galvez on the Seawall which has Bernardo's restaurant.

 

Enjoy your stay. They have a fabulous rooftop bar that overlooks the city all the way to the Gulf.

Really love the Tremont. You will be patting youself on the back for staying there- close to all you need be concerned with- elegant and luxurious.
