This is a great site! :)

So I'm going on the Disney Dream during Spring Break in a couple weeks and doing the Comfort Suites "trick". We're a family of 5 and I know the room is only for 4, so I was expecting to buy a one day pass for my 5 year old and it would still be a couple hundred dollars cheaper than Disney's excursion. The problem is I didn't realize until now :o that Atlantis will probably not be offering day passes due to Spring Break. :(

Any thoughts or suggestions? BTW I have no problem giving my wristband to my 5 year old and I will not go in the water, but I don't think they'll let me walk around without a wristband.

Thank you!

Correct, they won't let you on the property without a wristband,

Contact Majestic tours. http://www.majestictoursbahamas.com/

they sell day passes.. they may have some for your date.

Thank you very much. I e-mailed them. I really hope they do have one because the "boss" will kill me. :o Although I can always fall on the sword and play in the casino while everyone else is sliding. :D

Anyone have any other thoughts?

Update for anyone in a similar boat. :D

I e-mailed Majestic. Received a courteous response in a couple hours (impressive) and I was able to buy a pass for $80. :) :) :) Well worth it to stay out of the the dog house (for at least for a couple hours).

Thanks again, scubagirrl!!! I GREATLY appreciate your help.

That's great! Do you just pick up your pass when you get there? I may have to look into this option, as $80 seems pretty cheap if you get access to everything you would get with the Comfort Suites Atlantis pass.

Yes. Please note however that $80 is for one child under 12 and its $120 for an adult. Plus it is $10 more if you need hotel transfers.

To quote the rep that e-mailed me about picking up tickets:

Our Majestic Tours representative is located at the Majestic Tours desk in the lobby at Coral Towers.

Our Majestic Tours representative will issue your prepaid tickets for the Aquaventure and direct you to your check in location.

From what I understand, when you walk out the back of Comfort Suites you just cross the street and you're at Coral Towers.

To quote Majestic's website as to what is included:

ATLANTIS AQUAVENTURE

Be among the first to discover a new world. Ride swells of rapids in a tropical waterscape and fly down 7-story slides. Atlantis offers unparalleled fun and excitement on this full-day of adventure. The new Atlantis is home to an exhilarating new waterscape of pools, water coasters, body slides and rivers that introduce the next generation of water experiences. At 171 acres, Atlantis has become the largest water themed attraction in the Caribbean.

ACCESS TO WATER PARK, POOLS & BEACHES (TOWELS INCLUDED). Lockers available at extra cost... No cash only Credit Card at outdoor facilities and restaurants.

$130.00 per adult. Children under 12y pay $90.00 (Includes roundtrip transportation from Hotel)

Cosmo,

Would you mind sharing how much you're paying for the Comfort Suites? We're also a family of 5 and for the date we'll be there, it seemed like the Comfort Suites came out about the same as getting the passes through Atlantis. Is there a special trick to getting a lower rate at the Comfort Suites?

Our extended family is going so I might put all the adults in the Comfort Suites room and get individual wristbands for the kids. I still think it's a lot of money and may not do it, but my nephew went there 2 years ago and still raves about it, so I'm sure that's where they are going to want to go. Since we only see them once a year on a cruise, we like to spend as much time as possible together so the kids can keep up with each other, especially as they really do get along well.

Thanks for any advice/tips!

I made the reservation last May (basically the first day you could make a reservation for the date I needed since I believe you can only reserve 11 months out with Comfort Suites) and paid $276.70 including taxes for 4 of us.

I believe the only trick is to book as early as possible since Spring Break and other high season times will book fast and cost more than off peak dates.

BTW if you book one night at CS and you're actually staying there, I'm pretty sure that you get wristbands for 2 days (check-in and check-out days) at Atlantis. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Have fun!

When I looked at the website, I thought it said 3 or 4 o'clock. Looking at it as a possibility for our family. Thanks.

We did this about 1 1/2 yrs. ago. Once you get off the ship head over to Atlantis.

We checked in at about 10 or 11:00 am. We also checked out at the same time. They gave us 4 bracelets. I don't think it matters if the bracelets are for kids or adults. You only get 4, and can not buy extra from them just so you know.

There are many groups that do this deal. If you need an extra bracelet for a fifth ask one of the groups if they would be willing to buy one off them....maybe they will do it for free.:D

Then we took a short walk over to Atantis and picked up our towels.

Check in is at 3pm, but they will allow you to check in and NOT get a room assigned at any time. . Bracelets are given on the # of PAID guests in a room, to a maximum of 4, so noone will have extra's for free.

Even kids pay some of the surcharges.

For a 5th, you can either buy the day pass at the front desk at Atlantis (if you are not going during high season or late in the day,) or purchase in advance thru Majestic tours.

Hi! Can I get the "Atlantis Beach Pass" from Majestic tours as well? We'll be in Nassau on April 7 and we would rather buy directly from Atlantis than NCL. I'm just worried that the passes won't be available when we go there.

Thanks.

If we book comfort suites for the day we get 4 passes to Atlantis, if we book 2 adults and 2 children it is cheaper than 4 adults, when you pick up the room keys can one person get the passes, do the passes say adult or child?

? can 4 adults use the passes if you are booked in hotel as 2 adults and 2 chilren? we most likely wont even go into the hotel.

Hmmm.. last I was there, ALL guest had to show up at the front desk.

Meaning that if you had 4 adults, you'd pay for 4 adults.

Depends on who you get at the front desk. They won't just give you a room without your party being present. They have even asked for ID when ages are in question.
