Back from First Cruise

Returned from my first cruise on March 17. We went on the Elation to Progresso & Cozumel. I am hooked. My SIL & I both loved it. I will post my review soon. My little 13 yr old peek-a-poo had a stroke while I was gone. I had to have my baby Otis put to sleep on Sunday. This is the first day I have been on CC. Hope to get things together by next week. Thanks to all the posts on CC, we knew what to expect. Have room pictures and food porn. Can't wait until July.

My husband & I booked for July last October. The March cruise was a last minute deal with my SIL for her Spring Break.

I am so sorry to hear about your puppy. Our pets become such an important part of our families that losing one is heart breaking.

Welcome to the club. We leave in 2 weeks and I have a 1 yr old puggle that follows me everywheres all day. We are leaving a message on our answering machine in case he gets depressed and my grandchildren can play it. Thought about cancelling over this ...JUST kidding. We are packed and ready.

I'm very sorry to hear about your dog though.. that's very sad. I don't know what I would do if something happened to my baby beagle. They DO become family members so my deepest condolences.

So sorry for your loss. We lost our 14 y.o. pug Daisy a few months ago and I still get teary eyed when I think about her. Glad you had a great 1st cruise and I'm looking forward to your report and pictures.

We just went on the Elation also for our first cruise MArch 17. We were hooked right away and purchased a future cruise credit onboard. Looking forward to another cruise as soon as possible. We had a great time. Good food, great entertainment, never a dull moment.
