Pal Mar Estates Beach Club - has anyone been there recently?

I was there in Dec 2004. We enjoyed it. it is located literally just across the road form Dzul Ha and they have set up some of their chairs right on the beach at Dzul Ha. The grounds are quite pretty - lovely pool and garden. There are showers (outside and inside - the outside is warmer -heated by the sun) and washrooms and lockers and loungers around the pool. There is a small snackbar. Snorkel gear is available for rent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Dzul Ha is an AWESOME spot for snorkeling. And PalMar Estate Beach Club is the perfect spot for refreshments, snacks, a dip in a pool, etc. And, if you're at the club in late afternoon, it's the perfect spot to watch the sunset!
