WHAT HAPPENED TO "SNUBA"?

Last year we sailed out of San Juan on the Celebrity Constellation. We did "SNUBA" in Barbados and loved it. This year we are heading to St. Thomas, Tortola, Nassau on HAL and have not seen anything about snuba advertised. What happened? I know people disapprove of the safety issues of it...but did something happen to change it??????

Maybe it is a combination of you just haven't been looking in the right places and the vendors haven't done a good job advertising for it.

Where to find snuba from the snuba.com website shows that there are several providers of snuba in St. Thomas. There is also the possibility that someone not affiliated with snuba.com also offers it. Sometimes dive shops do. Anyone can buy the gear and since it is unregulated, anyone can sell it as a service.
