AmyBeth68 Posted April 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2004 We recently took an Eastern Caribbean cruise. We had the pleasure of visiting St. Martin and now I'm hooked. I was exploring the idea of visiting for a week next year but don't know which resort would be best. We have two young children (they'll be 5 and 7 at the time). I know that St. Martin is great for adults...but don't know about a resort that would be best with little ones in mind. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks . Didn't know where else to go to find this info!
Zeno Posted April 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2004 Since I don't have kids, I probably cannot provide totally useful advice on this but I will give you a few of my observations. We stayed at the Grand Case Beach Club in Grand Case. There were not a lot of kids there but the ones there seemed to be enjoying themselves. (There were 2 adorable little girls that I especially noticed - about 4 and 6 I would guess). They seemed to like the very gentle wave action and gradual entry on the little beach to the left of the small point. The beach on the right of the point is longer but the waves are larger and the drop off is sharper. Also GCBC provides a lot of toys (free of charge) for guest's use (noodles, floating mats, pails and shovels for kiddies, snorkel gear. Hope this helps. Also check the following website - LOTS of St Martin regulars post here: www.traveltalkonline.com Check out the "main index" for St. Martin Until NCL SKY
